Microsoft has announced that it is licensing out the Xbox One’s Wireless hardware to other companies. The wireless dongle you would use with the regular Xbox One controllers (The Xbox One S controller supports bluetooth) will now be inside of PC’s. This means no ugly wireless dongle anymore! The Lenovo IdeaCentre Y710 Cube is the first computer to have the hardware built into it. This means that to play with your original, or Xbox One S controllers, there is no peripheral needed. Microsoft stated that they plan to imbed the Xbox Wireless hardware into motherboards so people that prefer to build there own PC can have the functionality.
The Xbox hardware is not just for Xbox One controllers. Microsoft has also been licensing out to headphone companies, such as Turtle Beach, pdp, and Astro. This means we will probably see the Xbox hardware in headphones and other audio devices as well.

I hope some headphones are announced soon.
Why does the world need yet another wireless protocol! Just means your hardware will be obsoleted faster!
