Xbox Live Family GOLD
Sorry if a double post or answered else where but...
I want to give someone else in the family access to my games and GOLD membership with my current xbox one but get an upgrade to an xbox one s at the end of the month
Is this possible ??
Comments, Links, advice, how to all welcome.
Thanks in advance
Yes it is. You put the person(s) you want to share your gold membership with and games with on your current xbox. Now when you get the new xbox you need to go into the settings and make sure it is not your home xbox. Your home xbox is the one you want sharing everything. So you want to go into the settings, then go to personalization and then over to My home xbox. Now comes the confusing part, At the bottom you want the one that IS your home xbox to say "This isn't my home Xbox" and the one that you DON'T want to be your home xbox to say that it is your home xbox.
Now I can't recall if during setup if it asks if you want to make it your home xbox or not. I don't think it does but, if it does then you want to say no on the new one. If not or you just want to make sure it is setup correctly then just use what I have told you to double check it.
Leave it as your HOME Xbox in the settings
Log the new persons account into this Xbox
They stay signed into this Xbox and have access to gold/digital games
Xbox One S
Make this the other persons HOME Xbox
Sign in under your profile.
You now have access to your stuff
What does making this the other persons home xbox do? I don't think it does anything and if the other person logs in on that xbox they won't have gold.

That means you both have it at the same time. And because their Xbox is the home Xbox they can use their own accounts and you can still use yours
